Um... hehe... see, I got really impatient when I sketched this one out and, seeing as I didn't have anything to color with... I sort of stole the colored pencils from the kids I was baby sitting for. Oh, the kids were asleep so they didn't know. And I didn't take them or anything. Hence the reason why the colors look odd. And I don't like his shirt all that much, too many wrinkles. But... in the manga, his shirt has TONS of wrinkles. Always thought it odd for a guy who was usually so tidy. Anyway...

The title comes from an Ace of Base song. SHUT UP! DON'T MOCK ME!! The song's really pretty. Here's some sample lyrics: Every time it rains, I fall to pieces. So many memories the rain releases. I feel you, I taste you, I cannot forget. Every time it rains I get wet.

That IS perfect for him. Uncannily perfect, in fact. I bet they're secret fans. Mmyep.
And the colors look pretty good. For stolen children's colored pencils, they're awesome. They bring out the texture of the paper and that's cool.
I like his pose, too. He's almost reaching for the rain, maybe because the glass is still there, keeping them seperate.
Yeah, I may be looking into it too much.

Look, it was pretty late at night. Past about ten PM i can get sentimental connotations out of breakfast cereal. It's easier to go for art, tho.

Sentimental connotations from cereal... my Cheerios never looked so deeply intense before! Truly, the less-than-perfect circular structure is a brilliant symbol of the roughness to the circle of life...

Okay, I'm just bullshitting now. but it was pretty good, wasn't it?

I like how you did his hair in this; the coloring on it is very nice. However, the angle of his hand on the glass is a little...skewed, I suppose I could say. The perspective is a little unbalanced, but I suppose it can't really be fixed at this point. But his expression is particularly striking and sad. I like it.

Yeah... that's what happens when you're too impatient to see the finished product to fix things like that. I'll probably do a more proper piece of it later, but for now it's okay.
